‘Even when a team has a very poor manager, if they have great relationships amongst themselves, they will stay for longer than they otherwise would. I would argue therefore that the ideal scenario is to have both — great managers and great teams. Teams that are high performing and led by great leaders will keep people much longer than those that are mediocre and poorly led.’
