Does all the good stuff only happen at weekends? Have Sunday evenings become depressing, as the working days ahead come into view? Has your week been reduced to pointless meetings, over-complicated tasks and disillusioned colleagues?
You’re convinced there’s a better way of getting things done. But where to start? Well, this book has the answers. David Mansfield shows you how to reclaim your work week.
In a lifetime of work, David has encountered, tolerated, conquered and failed at most of the things you’ve come to accept as the natural order. The business world is a messy place. Processes and systems that were meant to help result in information overload, and just staying on top of the day-to-day feels like some sort of result.
But there are solutions, and The Monday Revolution has them. Every chapter contains stories, anecdotes and uncomplicated real-world advice on how you can Revolutionise your working life.
Simple, immediate, actionable examples show how directors, managers and business owners can get more done, more quickly. David covers all the basics needed to fast track profitable growth. If you want to look back on your working week with satisfaction and eagerly anticipate the next, read this book. And start your own Monday Revolution, this week.
The advice in this book is not only for business owners, as it can be applied to anyone’s career. Monday is the first step of the week and the author shows how steps add up. This is a great resource!
I’m looking to grow my business & want to improve my approach to new business & pitching. I was getting sick of hearing that our business had come second. There are tips that I’ve already started implementing. I realised that the was following the rules of the formal process, when I should have gathered intelligence about their needs in parallel. I’d highly recommend if you want to learn from someone who has been there and done it.
Great book – absolutely chock full of advice on how to kick-start/re-start your business. Each chapter has stories, examples, some deep thinking and a useful check list to get you going.
David is one of those rare individuals who can combine the best elements of objective, well-thought out business strategy with human emotional intelligence and empathy. Both traits shine through.
An essential read if you want to improve your business
David is more than a business guru. He’s a business do-ru!
That’s the beauty of this book. It’s real life business advice because he’s done it.
A mixture of anecdotal wisdom and business commandments that feel more relevant than ever post-lockdown, and have certainly made me consider my approach to the way I manage and shape our business – this has quickly become a significant book for me and I would recommend it enthusiastically.
Everybody can learn something from this book – extremely useful read, guiding you in understanding how to be your most efficient and successful you at work (and in life for that matter!) – a must read for all
I found I was consuming this book as I would a novel. It is a real page turner, well written and easily digestible. It is packed with useful insights and tips for your business life and I would be amazed if even the most experienced business person would not get a few snippets of advice that they could put to good use in their businesses.
Excellent and practical from the first page. Much of the advice can be applied not only to business life but to private life as well. Thoroughly recommended.
